A leitura heideggeriana da filosofia do mito de Cassirer: sinal de antecipação do pensamento pós-Kehre?

Abstract

RESUMO
Em 1928, foi publicada a recensão heideggeriana do segundo volume da Filosofia das formas simbólicas sobre O pensamento mítico de Cassirer. O texto de Cassirer data de 1925, daí que seja possível que Heidegger o tenha lido já antes da publicação de Ser e Tempo. O que torna o texto de Cassirer tal como a receção heideggeriana dignos de uma análise mais atenta é o facto de que vários motivos centrais da filosofia tardia de Heidegger já se encontram presentes nestes dois textos. Heidegger concentra-se nomeadamente nas reflexões de Cassirer sobre a representação do mana (Mana-Vorstellung) no pensamento mítico. Esta representação envolve não só a distinção entre o familiar e o não familiar enquanto inquietante que sobrevém poderosamente ao Dasein, como também a distinção entre o sagrado e o profano e aquela das quatro regiões do mundo (Weltgegenden) e a sua organização em forma de cruz. Embora nem tudo que se anuncia tematicamente na receção heideggeriana seja interpretável como anúncio consciente de traços da filosofia tardia, seria de admirar se a densidade com a qual se avisam filosofemas tardios fosse mero acaso. Daí que o artigo contribua para o debate da questão da viragem no pensamento heideggeriano e das suas origens, que podem remontar até à fase da génese, ou melhor, da redação final de Ser e Tempo.

ABSTRACT: Reading Cassirer's philosophy of myth: early signs of Heidegger's late philosoply?
In 1928, Heidegger's book review of the second volume of Cassirer's Philosophy of Symbolic Forms (The Mythical Thought) was published in the Deutsche Literaturzeitung. Cassirer's text date of 1925, hence it is possible that Heidegger had read it even before the publication of Being and Time. What makes both texts worthy of a closer examination is the fact that several central motifs and terms of Heidegger's later philosophy are already present in these two texts. Heidegger focuses particularly on Cassirer's reflections on the representation of mana (Mana-Vorstellung) in mythical thinking. This representation involves not only the distinction between the familiar and the unfamiliar, the 'uncanniness' or 'not-at-homeness' that befalls mightily the Dasein, but also the distinction between the sacred and the profane and that of the four world regions (Weltgegenden) and its organization in forn of a cross. Although not everything that Heidegger announces is interpretable as full awareness of the future impact of these traces, one would wonder if the density with which they appear would be mere accident. Thus, the article contributes to the debate on the issue of the emerging of Heidegger's late thought and its origins which can be traced back to the stage of genesis, or rather, the final draft of Being and Time.
